Hello everyone! My name is Candace, and it is my honor to be serving as the president of ECOSOC for SHAMUN. In past years, I have attended numerous conferences that had provided me with countless remarkable and precious experiences. These experiences are what led me to develop a genuine passion for being a part of the MUN community. Therefore, I am attending this conference with the hopes that each and every delegate can receive their own unique experiences through establishing an environment suited for constructive and cooperative discussions. Hi delegates! My name is Katherine, a junior at The Shanghai SMIC Private School. This is my third year in MUN and I am greatly honored to serve as the Vice-President of the Economic and Social Council at SHAMUN XXI. Aside from these, I absolutely love Philosophy and almost all the other humanities subject[s]. So please do not hesitate to reach out if you want to talk about any philosophy related topics. Hello, my name is Vivian, a sophomore at Shanghai American School (Pudong). I started MUN in middle school to improve my English (coming from a local school). This year, I am excited to serve SHAMUN as a novice chair. MUN brings out the power of our words and our voice- ours as in the people we represent, ours as in who we strive to understand, ours as in the world we live in.
