Hello! I’m Sean, a junior at Shanghai American School, and I will serve as the Deputy President for the Human Rights Council at SHAMUN. My goal is to help facilitate an informative discussion around important issues surrounding human rights. From my debating experience around this topic, it is clear that a convincing case comes from establishing common grounds between multiple perspectives and building the arguments based on these. I will also do my ultimate best to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to share their thoughts, and that we are all able to enjoy our time at SHAMUN. Thanks!

Hi! My name is Salma, I am 14 years old and I go to Nord Anglia International School Shanghai, Pudong. I have participated in MUN for 4 years and SHAMUN XXI will be my 4th conference. I’m very excited to be chairing the SHAMUN XXI Human Rights Committee this year!
